#53 Put a wind chime in a park

The city you live in belongs to you as much as it belongs to companies that advertise in it, graffiti painters and pigeons. Place little surprises around your city for example a wind chime in a park, at a golf course or in a public place.

You don’t necessarily need to buy a wind chime. Building your own isn’t complicated from whatever material, whether in wood, plastic or metal - depending on the type of sound you want it to make. The city you live in spends millions each year on public art, large pieces of concrete, deers made out  bronze and public fountains. Help make your city more beautiful, both visibly and aurally.

Required time:
Two hours: One hour and forty-five to build and the last 15 minutes to hang up. Make sure to photograph your wind chimes, and also email the picture to us at info@365thingsyoucando.com
Cost:
10-15 Euro for materials. You can make your own using cutlery or scrap metal. Or gather sticks and use them. It’s organic, building a wooden wind chime out of forest debris.
Cons:
People can be irritated by the sounds.
Pros:
You control the city you live in. It's your city. You will contribute to a more comfortable environment to live in. You make the dark and scary parks a bit more fun to walk through.
