#102 Try to break a Guinness world record

The world's largest chair is in Italy. Today is the day to start building a bigger one.

Imagine an entire shopping mall full of ten year-olds. Imagine that the goal is to break the record in eating stringed candy. I don't know if I need to continue the text, or even try to paint the background of the record attempt, but the year is 1996 and I'm in the OBS supermarket in Bäckebol just waiting for someone to blow the whistle so I can stuff my stomach full of stringed candy. It is a twisted reality and if I were to tell you about what went on in those minutes of jaws opening and closing you'd be so disgusted that you'd stop reading. I shouldn't talk about all the children who threw up afterwards in the parking lot until their faces were green. Or how the children stood there just shoving stringed candy into their giant mouths and only sometimes chewing, just swallowing all the candy. Malaco had put on the hundred meter long table which coiled itself around the mall. I won't talk about the fatty who bought donuts afterwards, as if there was room left for more. I won't tell you about the parents who stood behind their children, cheering, or about the candy company representatives that stood by and smiled with big mouths. Big. Closed. Mouths.

I'll just let you think for yourself. Imagine all the scenarios. And then you can finish with the picture of me as an adult and how I have never ever eaten a millimeter of stringed candy ever again.

Required time:
Depends on what you should do. Once, we stood and handed out flyers for animal rights in Gothenburg. So did thousands of other people around the country as well. Apparently we broke the record for handing out flyers together. Time is relative.
Cost:
Depends on what you should do. Maybe you can get sponsored? As a kid me and my sister saw this guy in a Stockholm mall. He was trying to wear as many t-shirts as possible. Need I mention who sponsored him?
Cons:
You might throw up, get hurt, be ruined, evicted, lose your friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, die, or many other unpleasant things.
Pros:
You will be entered in the Guinness Book of Records if you're lucky. You stretch the limits of what is possible. It's fun. You get attention for something creative or just plain stupid.
