#117 Go with someone to work

I went with my dad once when he worked at a print shop and they had just gotten a PC. This was many years ago. It was really cool with a PC. Then you could play solitaire and draw things in Paint. I had never seen anything violent. Afterwards, I was having my first kebab pizza. I think it was in Mölnlycke.

I went with my mother who was a dental nurse. I got a kind of clay that the dentist used to cast tooth impressions in. There was a blue clay and a pink clay. If you mixed them, it became a turquoise clay that it was possible to make a bouncing ball out of. My mom thought it was fun. When the doctor came in, I was a bit scared because I thought he would be pissed off that we were playing with his equipment. Instead, he laughed and made his own giant bouncing ball.

Required time:
One day.
Cost:
Invite your friend, parent or acquaintance to lunch as a thank you for letting you come.
Cons:
There may be times when you're in the way. Try not to disturb.
Pros:
You can get the chance to fly spaceships. You can learn a lot about the person in question and also about the profession. There might be a gateway for you to get an internship, temporary job or employment if you get a liking for the job and they like you.
