#130 Get rid of a secret

Carrying a secret is like eating a sugary donut without getting to lick your lips. I'm lousy at keeping secrets. If someone tells me not to tell anyone something of course I can keep it to myself; it's hard, but I don't betray confidences. If there's something that I myself am doing then it is quite impossible not to scream it out loud in the middle of the street. I don't know what causes this behavior or who to blame. Maybe it's hereditary or it could be something in the drinking water for all I know.

Therefore, I am happy for these three tips that are all made anonymously. The effects of the tips (which will is soon to follow, calm down!) are:

- You get to tell someone about your secret, but you don't betray anyone's confidence.

These are ways to empty your heavy backpack of secrets:

- Write down the secret on a post-it and put it in someone's mailbox. It should of course be anonymous.

- Make a postcard of it and send it here http://postsecret.blogspot.com/. You should of course not this sign with your name either.

- Write down the secret on a piece of paper and bury it in the nearest flower bed.

Bonus: http://postsecret.blogspot.com

Required time:
Ten minutes.
Cost:
Zero.
Cons:
A dog might dig up the note from the flower bed. Make sure to bury it far from your home turf.
Pros:
You get rid of the burden it is to walk around with a big secret inside.
