#144 Write a post for 365 things you can do

This blog is based on collective energy. I didn't know that when I started it. But I know now. It is based on all the e-mails, comments and things you do and find out, out there.

I actually shouldn't be writing this. I shouldn't be blogging. I shouldn't be starting a major project. I had saved up €10 000 to take a year off work and write my novel. But then I happened to talk about my idea 365 things you can do with my friend, Catharina, and she thought that I should implement it. Then you read the blog. Then the politicians began to hear about it. Then the municipalities. Then organizations and businesses. Then publishers. Then I was done for.

Now I sit day-in and day-out, working with the world's coolest project. The novel is resting in my closet waiting for the day I can finish it.

But I want you reading this to stand up. I want you to walk around in your apartment and think about what things you'd like to be posts on the blog. Perhaps you have a festival every summer where all your friends dress up as Star Wars characters, a special type of pizza which is half main course and half dessert, or, you have a tip on what can be built with old canned-corn cans. Then I want you to write about it to us and take a stab at influencing the content of the blog. Email your ideas and tips on issues to info@365thingsyoucando.com.

Any tips that lead to published posts win something nice.
