#166 Take up space in the middle of the advertising
When I looked at my account balance the other day I suddenly realized that I did not have nearly as much money as large corporations such as McDonalds and 7-Eleven. I don't have anything close to the budget of political parties or record labels for putting up big fat posters, banners and digital billboards to get my message out there.
But this is my city too. Perhaps it's possible to make room in the midst of all the advertising so that people living in the city will be heard as well. Maybe all it takes is a big piece of colored paper, some scotch tape and a pen.
Required time:
Five minutes.
Cost:
1€ for paper. Half a euro for a pen and 1€ for the roll of adhesive tape.
Cons:
It probably won't take long for your message to get taped over.
Pros:
You create a place for someone other than large companies to get their message and thoughts out there.
