#179 Live a day under the die
The book The Dice Man is about psychiatrist Luke Rhinehart who one day starts to make all his decisions by throwing a die. If the die shows a five he goes straight to the neighbor's wife and rapes her. But if it shows a three he does something else. The book has made thousands of people around the world put their lives into the hands of dice. We here at 365 things of course don't think you should murder, rape or rob banks, but it might be worthwhile to live a day under the die to see what might occur.
1. Buy a die.
2. Start by dividing all of your decisions during the day into six options. If you're going to work for example, you could divide that decision like this:
One = bike.
Deuce = Car.
Three = Walk.
Four = Run.
Five = Taxi.
Six = Stay home.
3. Throw the die and see what happens.
When I let the dice control my life I had a strange week where I did things I later regretted and which became an article in the newspaper the following day. But that's a story we need not discuss in this forum. We'll save that for another day.

Dice stavas just dice...och inte die... Bara en liten kommentar, i all välmening...
