#194 Bury a time capsule

When archaeologists find gems from old empires and civilizations, they gently polish the objects with a small brush and gently blow away sand and dust. Small house and garden tools reveal themselves out of the earth. Here lived the people and they had cows and goats. Here they cultivated potatoes. Here they cultivated corn. Here they dug a hole in the ground and shat and pissed. And here was something like a fireplace where they cooked their food.

Imagine a thousand years from now. What will they find from our civilization?

Archeologist robots scanning the Earth with lasers. Sending messages to their masters: Here they sat for hours on end, looking at some form of rectangular light box. Here they sat, pressing keys on a smaller square box sending digital messages to people a few feet away. Here they stood in front of another huge box, in which a group of people stood with electronic devices in their hands and in the space between them there were enormous sound waves that they all seemed to enjoy.

What do you want them to find? Write down a list of what you want to put in your time capsule and find the components. Find any kind of box that closes tightly and bury it deep into the ground in a good place. Email your list to info@365saker.se so we can see what you put in your time capsule.

Required time:
1 day or less
Cost:
Free
Cons:
Someone might stumble across the box about a week later wondering who the hell buries a box of junk and then just throw it away. Therefore write some sort of explanatory note at the top of the box.
Pros:
In X number of years someone will find the box and get a bit more knowledge of our generation. Thanks to you.
