One can criticize religion. One can criticize Islam. One can criticize cars. One can criticize bad songwriters. But you can’t ban bad songs, churches, roads or minarets.

Following the referendum in Switzerland, where 57.5 percent of the residents voted to ban construction of minarets and the survey here in Sweden that said that a quarter of Swedes are negative to minarets, 365 is starting a minaret-marathon.

We have asked the people we think can embroider, paint and perler bed nicely to create a minaret and send it to us. When we have enough we will send them in a nice package to the Government of Switzerland. A New Year's present from us - with the message that the ban is stupid.

In the meantime, you can build a minaret, a tower of Muslim muezzin, at home out of food or lego, in the garden or out of people. Send us the result at info@365saker.se so it can be part of our package. First out was Gisela Fleischer with a very nice picture.
