365 things you can do started out as a Swedish blog on January 1:st 2009 by Navid Modiri. The blog contained a list of things you can do, one thing every day in a year. After a couple of days people started to email pictures and movie clips of themselves doing the things mentioned in the list. After a couple of weeks people started their own 365-blogs in different Swedish towns. People all around Sweden learned how to knit, donated blood, raised money for different causes, baught coffee for homeless people, started flash mobs, learned bookcrossing, wrote poems and hid them in trees, built sculptures and tree houses, tried new sports and food they had never tried before.
On January 1:st 2010 the english version of 365 things you can do will start on www.365thingsyoucando.com. The purpose is to inspire people all around the world to stop just watching TV and start doing things. If you want to start a 365-blog in your hometown just send an email to info@365saker.se. You can also watch the informercialfilm on 365 things you can do.
