365 Uddevalla is well under way. Here’s their post from the other day.

Sometimes it's hard when you’re a 365. It is a struggle, and sometimes you don’t know what to think of. I sat and thought about this one evening when a friend of mine, with very long hair was visiting. Suddenly I got an idea and said it straight out.

- We’ll cut off your hair?

My good friend was a little hesitant, but finally we flipped for it and I won. So I cut it off. Just like that. And to make this something for 365, we decided to sell her hair.

The rules that apply to selling hair is about the same in all places you can sell them.

Guidelines:
- You get more money for blonde hair.
- It must be collected, like in a pony tail.
- It should preferably weigh at least 100g.
- The average length of the hair should be at least 20cm.
- It should be untreated.
- And it shouldn’t be too curly.

We called around to various wig makers nearby and after having talked to very many, we decided to sell it to Gothenburg Perukmakeri. He was the nicest and it was where we would get the most money for our hair.

The result was a short-haired Malin who became €60 richer.
When we measured the Malin's cut hair it measured 45cm long (so really long).
But the average length was 35cm. And the weight was 80g.

Required time:
1 hour or less.
Cost:
Free.
Cons:
You might change your mind when your hair is gone, and that’ll suck.
Pros:
You may get to put a bit more money in your pocket, and you do a good deed for the hairless people of the world.
